GRADUATION PARTY for ’05 SENIORS: We want to celebrate their achievement! WELLers, let’s welcome the seniors into the WELL ministry. Join us for pizza and a few things we want to offer that might just benefit the Seniors as they plunge into the next stage of life...Sunday, June 12, 6-8PM, at the YaCC, There's Food-- Pizza, chips, soda-- all the nutrition that a growing grad needs..., There's Loot-- We want to present them with their own Official Post-High School Survival Kit, full of everything they need in life, and some things they don't..., There's Experts (sorry for the bad grammar)-- Have Q and A time with some college and recent college grads who can give the straight dope on life after graduation. There's Community-- College leaders and young adults from WELL(that us) will be there, and we'll go up for some awesome guitar-led worship from 7-8PM.
Christ in the City Lutheran Church, Saturday, June 4 & July 9, 8:00 am - 12:30 pm; a campus ministry located next to the St. Louis University Medical Center. You can be a part of this exciting ministry to local college students and the surrounding community. They are refurbishing a very old Lutheran church into a coffee house for college students, a day care center for the neighborhood, and a ministry center. Come help paint, clean, scrape, install, fix and whatever else needs to be done. Contact Marcos Machado, 314-304-3894.
Ronald McDonald House, several dates available; gather up your family or your small group and share your love with out-of-town families whose loved one is hospitalized. Prepare and serve a meal to 30+ guests. Detailed training is available. Contact Pat O’Neill, 314-843-7744.
Free Car Wash - it's REALLY FREE! Webster Gardens, Saturday June 11, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Have your car washed by our students who are participating in our summer mission trips. All funds are raised from pledges beforehand, so you help us out simply by showing up! If you've made a pledge, please be sure to come and get your car washed, and tell your neighbors!
Separated? Divorced? Know someone who is? DivorceCare is starting at Webster Gardens. DivorceCare is a special support group where people can find help as they recover from the hurt of separation and divorce. DivorceCare will be on Wednesdays starting June 1 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Board Room. It is a 13 week program. Come any time. Each session stands alone. There are many needs around any church for qualified, trained, gifted youth and adults to care for kids while their parents participate in ministries at the church. If you are that kind of person and would be willing to be on a list to volunteer your time to the extension of God’s kingdom by caring for children, please let us know. CONNECT WITH OTHERS: Small group Bible studies are crucial for anyone’s faith growth and support as a follower of Christ and a great way to connect with others. Just call or talk with the leader of the group you are interested in or talk with Chad Starfeldt and he’ll help you get in a group.

Do you like to dance? Have you ever wanted to worship through dance? If you are a trained dancer, or just curious about sacred/liturgical dance please call Hannah Machado at 314-304-6992. The current plan is to meet together on Saturday mornings at church to pray, worship, move, and create! The first meeting will be held on Saturday, November 13th at 10:00 am.
